Each EMP kit consists of the following three things:
1. One Box containing the inverter (already modified internally) and associated parts.
2. Large Suppressors: 40 count
3. Small Suppressors: 20 count
If the customer desires EMP battery backup – it's recommend
• Sol-Ark PCC230 (230Ah) batteries
• ANY 48V lead-acid / AGM battery
EMP hardening Sol-Ark inverters is an additional proprietary step in their manufacturing and production process. It is NOT a separate component. EMP hardening must be ordered when placing purchase orders.
Please make sure TWO(2) boxes are included:
• ONE inverter box
• ONE box containing suppressors
Important for the protection: Please be sure to check in with Sol-Ark’s Engineering Support when installing EMP hardened systems to ensure the suppressors are installed correctly per installation manual.
All EMP hardened systems come with suppressors! EMP hardening the inverter alone will not protect the overall solar plus storage system setup, the suppressors must be installed!
